6月13-14日,在俄亥俄州立大学召开了面向该州的学术、公共与学校图书馆员的图书馆2.0会议(Library 2.0 Conference / Seminar),州立大学图书馆主办,州图书馆资助。会议免费注册,食宿自理。
据说现场参会者约70人,网络参会者(via Webcasts)135人。主讲者貌似都开有自己的博客,并且请来了SirsiDynix副总裁Stephen Abram和OCLC副总裁Lorcan Dempsey。网站上介绍主讲人时以姓氏拼音排列,非常草根的安排。
从形式上看,与厦大的2.0会还真有不少相似之处。看内容,似乎前面讲应用,最后两位副总裁讲理念,基本属于扫盲。我们是否也需要办扫盲班呢?

他在文中提到博客圈中的一个有意思的现象,参会时通过博名认识本人并得知其真实姓名,有时甚至不知坐在边上的就是自己在看博客的主人。(It is an interesting phenomenon when one goes to a conference and you recognize people from their blog names and their real names! Last month I was having a drink with a group of people after a presentation and unbeknown to me sitting across from me was the Krafty Librarian.)
看来扫盲工作仍需进行!
我们的2.0会议还没有一次实践操作的培训和演练,的确非常需要扫盲班.
最好有个开发小组…..
进入暑假,美国各地开了不少图书馆2.0的班呢。
正在写的2 .0书可以作为培训教材,那是扫盲级的。小钟的那是高级的,另一个话题。
